Zion Canyon in southern Utah is a place that I have returned to often over the years for artistic inspiration. As a result I have countless photographs and have done many many paintings of this beautiful place.
As artists we have the freedom to change, combine and create our own vision from what our camera provides us in a photograph. In this demonstration I am combining my favorite parts of two different photographs into a painting that reflects the things that I love about Zion Canyon.
