Watercolor: Start To Finish
In this Full HD (1920 x 1080p) remaster of Carl's fist instructional DVD release, Carl demonstrates his approach by painting a street scene from the Tuscan village of Monteriggioni. He shows how to look beyond the obvious surface details to the underlying colors and demonstrates how to execute a multi-colored, sparkling wash for the foundation of the painting.

Carl also illustrates how to achieve rich darks that vibrate with life, how to respond to shapes instead of items, and how to finish up with meaningful details that do not disturb the freshness of the initial washes.

From start to finish, Carl will demonstrate the mingling of colors on the paper, the use of water to achieve freshness and spontaneity, and the movement of lights to lead the eye through the composition.
