Broadstroke drawing is one of my favorite techniques for drawing. It is particularly valuable and versatile in creating quick, on-site value studies.
In this video demonstration, I give an introduction into some of the basic techniques involved in broadstroke drawing, and then I complete a landscape value study (a scene from Zions Canyon) using broadstroke drawing technique.
